Programming LifeCycle sets the cycle time parameters of your Water Garden.

The LifeCycle has 2 main settings to configure,

  1. The length of time the LifeCycle is on for
  2. How long until the LifeCycle turn on again

Step 1 - Plug in timer
Plug the Nearpow timer into a wall and turn on

Step 2 - Set the timer to turn on the LifeCycle
- Select the MODE button until the TIMINGĀ  CYCLE option is visible
- Click the SET button and the screen should begin to blink
- Use the MIN & SEC buttons to set the lenth of time that The LifeCycle will operate for
- click CONFIRM

A general setting would be 2 minutes and 30 seconds, but each water garden varies in size and shape, and this setting will need to be adjusted.
The goal is to get the water level come to about 1" below the surface of the grow media and then stop.

Step 3 - Set the timer to turn off the LifeCycle
After you haveĀ  set step 2, the screen will continue to flash, with an OFF sign. This timing will be the length of time that it takes for the LifeCycle to begin again.

While the screen is still flashing:
- Use the MIN & SEC buttons to set the length of time that The LifeCycle will operate for.
- click CONFIRM

A general setting would be 27 minutes and 30 seconds, which with the example given above would account for a 30 minute LifeCycle.
